1 box of Pomi chopped tomatoes
2-3 fresh tomatoes chopped (opt)
2-3 tsp minced garlic
1 cup chopped onions, lightly steamed
1 cup chopped mushrooms, lightly steamed
1 teaspoon oregano
2 teaspoons parsley
2 teaspoons basil
Celtic salt to taste
½ cup frozen, steamed spinach (opt)
Mix and refrigerate. Warm the sauce as needed.
This is a simple recipe and tastes great. It is also very flexible. You can add more onions, use less garlic or alter the amounts of any ingredients. Serve it over your favorite whole grain pasta, rice or even a baked potato. Enjoy!
