2 cups dry kidney beans, cooked (or purchase canned beans)
1 large onion, minced
2 tablespoons chopped green or red pepper
3 cups diced tomatoes
2 teaspoon liquid Bragg Aminos
3 teaspoon minced garlic
1 ½ teaspoons chipotle chili powder
Cook the kidney beans. Dry sauté the onions and pepper until tender. Add the tomatoes, Bragg Aminos, chili powder and garlic. Cook for 20 minutes on low heat. Add the kidney beans cook an additional 10 minutes. Add more chili powder to taste.
This recipe has lots off pluses. It quick, easy, contains no fat and is delicious. Serve it with some steamed vegetables or as a topping for a baked potato.
