12 Superfoods

Good Morning,

Did you know that spinach and other leafy, green vegetables were the foods eaten most by people who don’t get cancer? They are a terrific source of antioxidants and anti-cancer substances. They have 4 times more beta-carotene than broccoli (which has a lot). They are rich in fiber which helps lower cholesterol and spinach is a good source of iron but beets are an even richer source. And beets are also a great food to relieve constipation and they are good for obesity. The greens are helpful in cases of anemia, tumors, gout, pimples and eliminating irritating drug poisons.

Wow! That’s so impressive! We should probably eat spinach and beets at every meal, don’t you think? Hmmm… maybe not. We could say amazing things about many of the foods created for us. It just shows that God worked this all out from the beginning. He made a lot of great plant foods that are packed with amazing nutrients that do amazing things. We don’t need to eat any ONE food all the time; we need a variety of God’s super foods that are readily available to us. So enjoy ALL the foods God created. The answer to good health is not in any one food but rather in the totality of our diet. Choose a variety but remember to always…
