EZPZ Brown Rice and Vegetables

Brown rice OR parboiled rice that cooks in 10 minutes



Vegetable possibilities:

Sliced onions

Sliced mushrooms

Chopped carrots (1/4 inch slices)

Chopped green peppers (1/2 inch strips)

Chopped asparagus (1 inch pieces)

Chopped cabbage or bok choy (1 inch pieces)

Frozen Peas


Cook the rice in a rice cooker. The cooker can be programmed in the morning to have the rice prepared when you arrive home.


Steam the vegetables of your choice. Serve the rice and vegetables with low sodium soy sauce or low sodium Tamari sauce.
