Tomato Soup

2 15-oz. cans of stewed tomatoes

1 6-oz. can tomato paste

1/4 teaspoon oregano

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 1/2 tablespoons sucanat or other sweetener

1/4 cup plant milk

Cooked rice (opt.)


  • Mix all ingredients in a saucepan except the plant milk and rice

  • Heat the soup until sufficiently warmed

  • Use an immersion blender to make the soup smooth

  • Add plant milk and cooked rice, if desired
