Faux Parmesan

4 tablespoons almond meal

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast*

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/8 teaspoon sea salt (Celtic)

  • Mix ingredients well and sprinkle on vegetables, potatoes, spaghetti, salad, etc.

 

* Do not confuse nutritional yeast with baker’s yeast or brewer’s yeast. Nutritional yeast is yellowish in color, has a “cheesy” flavor and looks like flakes. 

Note: You can easily adjust the amount of each ingredient to your tastes. The recipe can be easily doubled or tripled and stored in the refrigerator.
